Vista figs are known for their deep purple skin and jammy red flesh. They have a sweet  berry-like flavor. Vista is often described as similar to Violette de Bordeaux (VdB). On our farm, it survives zone 6a winters without any special precautions.
 
Our figs are grown in-ground without protection in zone 6b Kansas. Cuttings are thicker and more substantial than those grown in containers. Our goal is to provide cold hardy fig varieties that we have tested and found to be productive in our climate.
 
Cuttings are approximately 6-8" with minimum of 3 nodes and fully lignified.
