Cudrania tricuspidata or Maclura tricuspidata
Also called Melon Tree, Melonberry and Chinese Mulberry. Native to East Asia. A relative of the fig and mulberry.
Hardy and disease free. Spreading growth habit. Grafts well onto Osage Orange (Maclura pomifera) rootstock and produces a tree approximately 20' tall.
Scion is approximately 6-10" in length and should be good for two grafts, depending on your method.
