Black Greek was discovered by fig collector Marius in Ohio. It is cold hardy and easy to grow. Productive and fairly early, similar to other Mt Etna type figs. It produces dark colored figs that are tasty, rich and satisfying. A great choice for lovers of dark berry figs.

Our figs are grown in-ground without protection in zone 6b Kansas. Cuttings are thicker and more substantial than those grown in containers. Our goal is to provide cold hardy fig varieties that we have tested and found to be productive in our climate.

Cuttings are approximately 6-8" with minimum of 3 nodes and fully lignified.
